The Friends of Leo J Martin Skiing have received a matching grant of $50k through the DCR Partnership Program!
The grant will help fund the design and construction of a new pump house at the Leo J. Martin and will produce snow in the winter, and keep the course green during the summer. The new pump house will be a significant improvement over our current system and will vastly improve the snowmaking capacity at the ski track.
Thank you Representative Kay Khan for all your hard work. Thank you also Secretary Matthew Beaton, DCR Commissioner Leo Roy and FOLJMS Board Member James Jampel for helping make this award possible.
FOLJMS is a nonprofit with 501(c)3 status that represents a wide range of winter recreational and cross-country skiing enthusiasts who are working to ensure that the Leo J Martin remains a vibrant and successful multi-use, cross-country skiing and winter recreational facility.
